Bear form!

Finally my exams are over and I have time to play again with the good old tauren.

The journey from the Tauren starting zone to level 10 was quite boring, I might say. Well, that is partly my fault since I haven't got any decent armor/weapon drops and not even a single bag, which forces me to go back to town regularly, specially since I'm a skinner.

But finally I got there and it was time to start my bear form quest. The whole quest was rather easy, I might add. I wonder if the Alliance quest is as easy as ours. Went to Moonglade, talked to the bear spirit, killed the moonkin spirit et voilá, BEAR FORM!

Tried it out for a bit before logging out and I can see myself grinding a bit faster now. Can't wait to get the charge-like ability. (Yes, I'm a complete noob to druids, that's what makes this fun!). Now four or five more levels and I'm ready to PUG Ragefire Chasm!

By the way, here's little old me...

College

Like the few blog visitors that keep coming here must have noticed, this hasn't been updated for quite a while. It's not because I've grown tired of the idea of making a "Pugger", on the contrary. I'm still very fond of it. But real life can be a pain in the behind sometimes and prevents us from doing what we like. I'm studying for my college exams so I didn't renew my account for the time being. I'll be back by the 15th of February and you can count on having this blog updated with the perilous (or boring) journey to bear form!

Until then, pug away!

Arrival at Bloodhoof Village

Starting up

I decided to pick a druid, and since I wanted to be Horde, Tauren was the only choice. I never played a druid past level 10.

My first toon in World of Warcraft was a Night Elf Druid (so cliché) with the name Ohforf. By the time I started playing WOW I read a webcomic named "The Noob" about a guy that starts to play EverQuest. When trying to choose a name he realizes all the names he wants are already picked, including variations of the same name so...well, a picture is worth more than a thousand words.

Since I'm now playing on a RP-PVP server (Defias Brotherhood) I thought the name Ohforf wouldn't be a good choice and since the name of this blog is Captain Pugger, I went with Pugger. Pugger doesn't sound that bad after all. Hope I don't get a whisper from a GM telling me to change it...

Anyways, I think this is my first tauren that will actually go beyond the starting zone and I'm starting to remember why I never started a tauren again. I don't like the starting area that much, mostly because I play at night and the Ravine is too dark for me to see properly. Also, the first few levels of druidism are being a bit slow, compared to other classes. I'm enjoying the tips from the Big Bear Butt Blogger, and it's going a bit faster, but still, it's no hunter!

I'm currently level 5 and I'm headed to Bloodhoof. Don't know if I'll stay there or pack my things and go to Silvermoon. We'll see.

Captain Pugger is born!

Following BRK's idea for a blog, Captain Pugger was born!

It's kind of convenient since I was thinking of rerolling on a RP-PVP server, and since I can't drag any of my friends there I'd be playing solo most of the time.

I just created the blog, will have to do some work on the template to fit my new level 1 toon so don't feel surprised if you see a lot of changes (this assuming anyone is actually checking up on the blog).

Wish me luck!
